Please complete the Survey on whether or not your child will be fulltime, 3 days a week (M, W, F) or 2 days a week (T & TH) at Helen Tyson Middle School. ( If you attend VIA DTSOI your child will learn from home virtually 5 days a week. )

💚💚🐝🐝💚💚🐝🐝🐝💚💚🐝🐝Welcome Mr. Evan Willis to HTMS Boys Choir and General Music. Originally from Harrison, Mr. Willis graduated in with his degree in Vocal Music Education from UCA in Conway where he had the privilege to serve as the choral assistant and librarian for 2 years. Mr. Willis has also served as the associate director of the Conway Men's Chorus for 2 years, UCA's University Chorus Co-director, as well as the president of the UCA chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity. He studied conducting with John Erwin and voice with Wolfgang Oeste, Christine Donahue and Steven Martin during his time at UCA, and has had the privilege to perform in 13 different countries since 2014. Evan and his retriever Sebastian are beyond excited to join the Helen Tyson family! Go hornets!🐝

Parents, Please carefully read the newly updated Technology Acceptable Use Agreement. Please notice changes to "insurance," now referred to as "Springdale Schools Chromebook Protection Plan" (SCPP). You can enroll for one year at the cost of $20. This $20 no longer covers the entire cost of the first repair fee as insurance previously did. It simply reduces the fee for the first two repairs. 🐝🐝🐝💚💚💚🐝🐝🐝💛💛💛🐝🐝Hello! My name is Caylee Wright. I am so excited to be coaching girls basketball and teaching social studies at HTMS this year. I graduated from Har-Ber High School and then went on to get my bachelor's degree in Poultry Science from the University of Arkansas. After working in sales for a year, I realized my heart was in teaching/coaching so I went back to school and earned my Masters in Teaching from SAU. In my spare time, I love being outside, fishing, watching sporting events, going to the beach, and spending time with family. This will be my third year teaching and I can't wait to get started :). Go Hornets 🐝
