Good Morning Walker Families, All Springdale Public Schools are open today (Friday, February 10, 2023). Today is Lunch with Dads (or any favorite friend) for all 1st, 3rd, and 5th Grade Wildcats.

Students enjoyed pupusas and chicken teriyaki with adult mentors today at the Lunch with Dad or Someone Special at Walker Elementary School. Kindergarten, second- and fourth-grade classes participated in the event, which included lunch and a photo booth! #SpringdaleFamily

Our lunch menu for Tuesday and Wednesday changed due to our days out of school last week. The menu for Tuesday will be Peppy Pasta or Chicken Nuggets and on Wednesday it will be Oven Roasted Chicken or Pork Steak.

We hope you can join us for Walker PTA Skate Night tonight (Tuesday, February 7th) from 6 - 8 pm at Roller City, 1007 Century St. Springdale, AR 72762 https://www.rollercitynwa.com/ The Cost is $5 per person which includes the skate rental. You can pay another $3 if you want inline/Speed Skates. Or you can bring your own! They also have arcade games and snacks and drinks for purchase. Hope to see you there!

Attention all Current Walker 5th Grade Parents & Care Givers: REMINDER- TONIGHT is the NIGHT!!! Helen Tyson Middle School will be hosting a rising (future) 6th grade parent night. We will be providing information about 'Who' we are as a school and a community and the great things HTMS has to offer. Parents will get to hear from Administration, teachers, and other staff. This event will be an informative presentation. Do not worry if you are unable to attend, as our 'open house' event will still be held later in May. WHO IS INVITED? Current Walker 5th grade students and families, Tomorrow night is our family night at Helen Tyson Middle School at 6:00 pm. This night is for any future HTMS Hornets to come and learn about middle school. This time will better prepare you and your child to start middle school in August. We can't wait to see you there!
